Mike Niebauer served as Rector of Redeemer Chicago Anglican Parish, a parish with seven congregations in Chicago, from 2009-2014. He planted Church of the Redeemer at Northwestern in 2005, and helped launch 4 additional congregations in the parish. In the Fall of 2014 he and his wife Allison moved back to his hometown of State College, PA, to begin work on a new network of congregations in central Pennsylvania. In addition to ministering, Mike is a string bass player and has performed touring acts for 6 years. He has a B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Northwestern University and a M.A. in Theology from Wheaton College, and is currently working on a PhD in Systematic Theology from Duquesne University.
